Two local athletes will be representing Canada at the upcoming Pan Am Games.

23-year old Caroline Ehrhardt of Espanola and 22-year old Ross Proudfoot of Lively have been named to the Canadian Track and Field team.

Ehrhardt will compete in the triple jump while Proudfoot is entered in the 5-thousand metre run.

The Pan Am games will be held in Toronto and surrounding areas July 10th to the 26th.

More than 6,000 athletes representing 41 nations will be taking part in the games.
