There was a moose on the loose in the city earlier today.

The moose made it’s way from Kathleen Street to Elm and Regent and Sudbury Police urged residents not to honk or chase after the moose.

Officers now have the moose contained and ask people avoid the area because the animal is scared.

The MNRF is on scene looking to relocate the animal.
