We’ve all done it…parked somewhere and can’t remember where. But for 19-year old Gavin Strickland, a moment of parking panic turned into four days. Gavin drove from his home in Syracuse, NY to Toronto to see Metallica at the Rogers Center Sunday night. When the concert was over, he couldn’t remember where he left his car. Really couldn’t remember. It took a Craiglist Ad, a $100 reward, and some genuinely nice people to find Gavin’s car. Reporters greeted Gavin when he got off the bus from NY and the woman who located his car in a parking garage gave him a map of Toronto with a sticky note indicating where he had left his vehicle. The parking garage waived the four days of fees and gave him a bluetooth device for his car so this kind of thing never happens again.
