Faculty from Cambrian College and College Boreal walked to Sudbury MPP Glenn Thibeault’s office raising awareness saying the biggest impasse in the near month long strike continues to be precarious work.

This week the Ontario Labour Relations Board ordered the faculty vote to be held from November 14th to November 16th.

President of OPSEU Local 6-5-5 Nina Naumenko says they prepare students to find full time work, how does it look if their professors are all part-time.

Naumenko says there was a deal in place but the issue continues to be around hiring more full time workers.

College faculty have been on strike across the province since October 16th and at 26 days(FRI) it’s approaching the longest strike in college history, 28 days in 1989.
