Dynamic Earth officially re-opened over the weekend as the public got an opportunity to see some of the new features at the local attraction.

Senior Manager Julie Moskalyk says their underground experience has been completely revamped with multi-media and special effects.

There is also a new exhibit called King Tutankhamun: Treasures from the Pharaoh’s Tomb, which will bring some mummy themed events, where people can sleep overnight in the room where the mummy is being kept.

The mummy is  3,000 year old Nefer-Mut who is on loan from the Royal Ontario Museum.

Also topping the Big Nickel’s 50th birthday will be tough, but for the 51st, Dynamic Earth will open the outdoor Science Park.

Dynamic Earth is open seven days a week from 10 am to 4 pm.
