Three people, including a baby girl, died in a collision on Highway 69 in Magnetawan First Nation, last night.

West Parry Sound O-P-P say a van exited Highway 529, heading towards the northbound lanes of Highway 69, when they crossed into the path of a southbound tractor trailer.

William Tuck, the 71-year old driver from Lake Helen First Nation, 13-year-old Ember Wynne and three-month old Myah Kowtiash, both from Red Rock Township, all died.

Police say Ember and Myah were siblings.

Two other people in the van were flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A media rep for the O-P-P would not say if or how the two injured victims were related to the deceased.

O-P-P Technical Traffic Collision Investigators continue to look into how the crash happened.

A portion of Highway 69 was closed from 8:30pm Wednesday until just after 2 Thursday morning.
