This February is the annual Heart Month canvassing campaign, and volunteer canvassers for the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Greater Sudbury will be at your door asking for donations to help save a life.

Every seven minutes heart disease and stroke takes the life of a Canadian.

Every donation makes a difference, every dollar counts.

Each year, more than 100,000 Canadians join the Heart Month canvassing campaign.

Funds raised go to research, advocacy and health promotion initiatives to prevent disease, save lives and promote recovery.

Last year, $92,343 was raised from the Greater Sudbury and North Bay Area – let’s help raise that number this year, Sudbury!  If you see a volunteer canvasser from the Heart and Stroke Foundation at your door, please give generously and think of the impact you will be making on someones life.

For more information, or to volunteer as a canvasser in either Sudbury or North Bay,  please  visit www.heartandstroke.ca/help or call 705-585-4774.
