Tactical Officers had to be called in to Main Street in Val Caron and one man has been arrested in a weapons complaint.

Police responded in the early morning yesterday after it was reported a shotgun was pointed at someone following a fight between several people.

No shots were fired and the suspect tried to flee once officers arrived but was chased down.

Drugs and explosives were also found.
