There will be no men’s basketball at Cambrian College for the upcoming school year, or the year after that.

The college has decided to step away from varsity competition after their head coach Luc Giroux left for personal reasons.

Under league rules they must wait two seasons to be eligible to re-enter.

This season the Golden Shield finished with a record of 1-17.
