Now that we’re through the winter, the demand for properties is up and the number of homes on the market is also increasing.

That’s the feeling from the Re/Max 2016 Spring Market Trends Report despite a 2% drop in the average sale price of a home in Greater Sudbury
in the first three months of the year at $243,396.

Local Re/Max broker, Cathy Gregorchuk says everything is pointing upwards moving forward with the demand for properties up and the number of homes on the market also increasing.

Gregorchuk says first time home buyers continue to drive the local market with starter homes going anywhere from $160,000 to $220,000.
