From the “Oh, god PLEASE let this happen” file,
The Tragically Hip are in talks with the CBC to air their “final show”.
There have been a number of online petitions
to get the public broadcaster to air it for those who
can’t attend any of the shows
and CBC Spokeswoman Emma Bédard
said they’ve been in talks with the band to hopefully make it happen.
The Hip’s “Final Show” will go in Kingston, August 20th.

 

Joblo.com had more insight to both “Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2” & “Thor: Ragnarok”.
For Thor, there will be a fight on Planet Hulk
and they confirmed some big in Guardians
including Karl Urban, Tommy Flanagan, Sylvester Stallone, Kurt Russell,
and Elizabeth Debicki who’s rumoured to play the villain.

 

Uh oh…this is never good.
“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” has to undergo reshoots.
Execs watched a copy and felt that it looked too much like a war movie,
which to them sets it too far apart from the franchise,
so director Gareth Edwards and company have to
go back in June to make it more on par
with the rest of the Star Wars Empire.
“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” is out December of next year.

 

“Deepwater Horizon”, based on the 2010 disaster in the Gulf of Mexico,
it’s directed by Peter Berg and stars
Mark Wahlberg, Kurt Russell, John Malkovich
and hits theatres in September.
