Two Greater Sudbury areas have cracked the top ten list in Canada when it comes to safe driving.

According to Allstate, who put out an annual Canada Safe Driving study, Val Therese and Chelmsford ranked number three and number five in the country, when it came to collision frequency.

Val Therese was at 3.69 per cent, while Chelmsford came in at 3.86 per cent.

Sudbury came in 26th out of 86 communities with a collision frequency rate of 4.99 per cent.

Nationally, collision claims went up from 5.6 per cent last year to 5.7 per cent.
