The Sudbury Wolves and United Way Sudbury and Nipissing District have partnered to on a fund to support local youth development and youth mental health services.

The “Wolves United” fund will grow year after year with contributions from the United Way along with partnerships and initiatives.

Executive Director, Michael Cullen says their focus has shifted to the concern of youth mental health and this is a great start to 2017.

Wolves Owner Dario Zulich says this partnership is so important because of the severity of the problem that effects everybody including his players.

According to the Collective Impact for Disconnected Youth, 30 per cent of Sudbury’s high school students reported unmet needs for mental health support.
