Sears Canada says it’s giving up. The retail chain sought creditor protection in June after announcing widespread job cuts and store closures.
It says it’s failed to find a buyer that would allow it to remain in business. That means the company’s remaining stores, including the one in New Sudbury Centre will close. 12-thousand employees across the country will be out of work.
