That Winter storm has begun with strong winds and freezing rain in Greater Sudbury.

Environment Canada is saying to expect a variety of weather conditions tonight into tomorrow.

The snow could begin later tonight, but some areas could see extended periods of ice pellets and freezing rain.

The weather agency is still calling for 10-20 cm of snow and ice, but it is looking more like mostly freezing rain for the Greater Sudbury Area.

This has caused the cancellation of most flights leaving and arriving at the Greater Sudbury Airport.

City crews are also out salting the roads.

Stay tuned tomorrow morning for an update on school buses and city services.
