Greater Sudbury Police is asking for help in identifying the man responsible for multiple thefts of poppy donation boxes, as well as other donation boxes from local businesses.

Since Oct. 23, there have been six reported thefts of donation boxes.

“We are asking businesses that have donation boxes to ensure that the boxes are accounted for,” police said in a Facebook post. “As a business owner or employee, if you notice that your donation box is missing, please report it online through our website www.gsps.ca under Reporting using the Theft Under $5,000 report type.”

In relation to the recent incidents that have been reported, the same man has been identified as the suspect in all six thefts.
