…and cancelled my appointment for next week. Truly I have bigger things to worry about than my roots but he’s not going to be working, so there goes his self-employed income. There are a lot of people who are in the same boat and who may have to ask for help for the first time ever.
City Councilor Deb McIntosh has started a campaign for the Sudbury Food Bank called Cash for Cans to raise money for much needed food over the next while. As president of the Food Bank, I am constantly amazed at those who step forward with their time and ideas to help us at crunch time, and this is definitely crunch time. If you are able to help, follow the link to the Sudbury Food Bank and make a donation online. If you need help, that’s what we’re here for and please reach out. There’s a list of Greater Sudbury Food Bank member agencies and their locations and hours on that website as well.

A big thank you to everyone working in essential services keeping things running and safe for us. That’s why I posted the picture of the garbage truck at my house this morning.

Also a bit of a change in branding from Social Distancing to Physical Distancing, which sounds more accurate to me. We can still stay social via technology, although I can’t wait till this is over and I get to hug again!

Talk tomorrow! Wash your hands!
