1) Pearl Jam’s debut album Ten is named after basketball player Mookie Blaylock’s jersey number.

2) Eddie Vedder was the last band member to join Pearl Jam.

 

 

3) Two songs off the album Ten, “Alive” and “Once” are part of a trilogy of songs that Vedder wrote which he calls the “Momma-Son” trilogy. The third song, “Footsteps”, made it onto their Lost Dogs album.

 

 

4) They avoid using Ticketmaster whenever possible because Pearl Jam doesn’t want to overcharge fans, but are forced to use Ticketmaster when it’s the only option.

 

 

5) Members of their fan club receive a holiday single every year around Christmas. And they RULE.
