Hundreds took to the streets in Downtown Sudbury on June 3, chanting in unison for justice, peace and change, in an effort to raise awareness of racism and its victims, both past and present.

This anti-brutality protest was held in honour of the late Regis Korchinski-Paquet, who died May 27 after falling from the 24th floor of her family’s apartment building in Toronto. Her death is believed by many to be the latest instance of racially-charged police intervention but remains under investigation with very few details released to date.
