United Way Emergency Community Support Fund

United Way Centraide North East Ontario/Nord-est de l’Ontario (UWCNEO) is now accepting funding applications for the Emergency Community Support Fund (ECSF), the $350M investment made by the Government of Canada, that is being delivered through United Way Centraide Canada, Community Foundations of Canada and the Canadian Red Cross. Funds earmarked through this initiative will provide financial support to charities serving vulnerable individuals disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Throughout the North East Region, UWCNEO has been allocated over $1M to invest in community based charities who have worked tirelessly to provide emergency support to our most vulnerable citizens. The demand for services has increased dramatically, and these much-needed resources will have a tremendous impact.
